IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!! 18 weeks!

We found out it's a girl November 16th 2013!!!! We are so excited that Mya will have a baby sister to love and teach her adorable mischievous ways. I am thrilled to the bone that I will get to raise sisters and show them how to love and unconditionally be there for one another. I get goosebumps at the thought of them being best friends throughout their lifetimes. Watching them help each other, plan one another's weddings, help when they have babies of their own. The thought tickles me that I have been blessed with the joy of loving two girls!!
We are hoping that this baby girl comes out and is more like her daddy and less like her sister and mommy as poor daddy cannot take another ME! haha but I have never met a set of sisters who were the same in personality. In fact they are typically very opposite which gives us hope that his baby girl will be mellow and less spastic than Mya! **wishful thinking**
We are still unsure of baby girl's name but hope to come to a decision sooner then later so we can give her a name to call. Daddy has been reluctant to discuss name before we found out gender and now that we know let the lists and discussions begin. We have thrown around a few names but nothing has stuck or been decided.
This week is Thanksgiving and I am 18 weeks pregnant. I have so much to be thankful for this year. Not only do I have a healthy shining toddler but a growing healthy baby in my belly. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving at home this year with just Auntie Val, Uncle Jeremy and maybe Uncle Vince. I can't wait to watch the gatherings grow as our families grow and Mya and baby girl get cousins in the near future. This is what life is all about, growing, loving, and having fun!

18 weeks:
Baby girl is about 5-1/2 inches and 7 oz and moving around like crazy. Although I feel baby's movement here and there it is still not strong or regular. I cannot wait for those BIG baby kicks and especially the hiccups! Her internal lady parts are starting to form and develop throughout the next couple of months.
I am feeling great finally and although I am going to sleep at 9:30pm on average I have lots of energy throughout the day and thus far no aches or pains. YET!

No Money Shot For Mommy!!!

15 weeks 5 days

Had my 2nd doctor's appointment Wednesday November 6 at 9:15am. Dr. Ngo said that he would look for gender. Of course the little stinker had not only the cord between the legs but legs were crossed. So no reveal this week. I am happy to report that Baby G was flailing everywhere. In the picture you can see the baby's long legs and they were kicking everywhere. So in love already.

We have a private gender ultrasound scheduled for Saturday Nov 16th! We are so excited. With Mya she was not cooperative at the private ultrasound and it took the tech over 30 minutes to see her lady parts. We are hoping for a quicker reveal this time. We cannot handle another crazy stubborn child! But WE STILL LOVE YOU TO PIECES AND CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU!

So It Happened Again!!!

AUGUST 16TH 2013

AUGUST 17TH 2013

So our second journey begins growing Baby Gamm #2. We are so excited to add another member to our growing family. On August 16th 2013 our lives changed yet again with a positive pregnancy tests! I had tested 2 days before and got a negative so I thought that this was not our month and we would try again the following month. On the 16th I had planned to go to a girlfriend's house to help her with some paperwork and to partake in some libation consumption. I still hadn't gotten my period and daddy said take a test before you go just in case. So I did and BAM! Big fat positive!!!! The following morning I took the digital test to confirm and there was no denying WE WERE PREGNANT!

While we were trying to conceive #2 I was also up for a promotion so 2 big life changing events were about to happen. I was offered the position 2 weeks after we found out we were pregnant. The new job entailed 2 full months (September and October) of training in Los Angeles. Although training was not daily it did vary from 2 to 4 days a week which took a toll on me since I was trying to survive the first trimester. We survived!!! Baby Gamm #2 and I both survived! We could not have done it without the super dad and all his support. Baby #2 you are one lucky baby to have picked such a wonderful daddy! He is loving, caring, smart and lots of fun. I know you will fall in love with him like both Mya and I have.

The first trimester has been pretty uneventful which is a good thing. Other than exhausted and some food aversions I have been lucky without any morning sickness. I felt better this pregnancy in my first trimester then I did when I was pregnant with Mya. I write this as we step into the 2nd trimenster, 15 weeks! Boy am I showing already. I did not show with Mya till after 20 weeks this baby I started showing sometime around 13 weeks. I am finally starting to feel great again, the exhaustion is slowly wearing off.. YAAAAAAAY!

We had our first doctors appointment with Dr. Ngo on October 7th 2013 and we got to see our little gummy bear. Dr. Ngo commented how long the baby's legs were and we too were quite surprised. We are hoping that we can keep Dr. Ngo as our doctor for this pregnancy and delivery too but certain circumstances with birthing options may not allow for that to happen. We will find out more at the next appointment which is scheduled for November 6th 2013 at 9:15am. I hope to get to see the baby again!!!
